Rick Bennett spent most of his life in this game: as a father, a grandfather, a coach, and a tournament organizer. He coached travel ball before travel ball was cool, for more than 30 years, starting with his sons, then many kids in between, and eventually his grandsons.
You'd be hard-pressed to find a travel baseball player in Central Florida over the last 15 years who hasn't played in a tournament run by Rick Bennett.
Rick built his events for the kids who loved the game and wanted more swings, not just the ones headed to a showcase. That's why he created the 4-game guarantee: every team plays at least four games, no matter how Saturday goes.
